BOOKS – THEOLOGY – LIFE

The Forgotten King – Kenneth Padgett & Shay Gregorie

Here is a book for children (really, for everyone!) that captures God’s heart for His sin-cursed world in such an imaginative and creative way. God’s story is the truest and greatest story there ever was or will be. Wolfbane Books has taken this story and created a parable that beautifully illustrates how God is bringing it all about. There is a King and His people. Sin enters the picture and His people soon forget Him and attempt to live on their own. What is the King going to do? Will he remain a forgotten King? Will His people remain estranged and on their own? The story unfolds in a biblically satisfying way!

The illustrations are so vivid and unique, telling the story of the gospel all on their own. It is such a beautiful book to look at and our children love picking it up and hearing the story over and over again. It has quickly become a favorite in our house. We’re so thankful for creative writers and illustrators who love the Lord and His story and want to share it with the world!

If you love beautiful things, you will love this book. I’m a huge advocate for adults enjoying well-crafted children’s stories, so whether you have children or are a child at heart, grab copy from Wolfbane Books and get lost in the true and good story of the gospel of God and His Kingdom!
